Italy’s Sanremo: The Story So Far… + Night 2 Results!

Last night, the first night of the 5 night Song Festival took place at the iconic Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, Italy. A total of 11 acts took to the stage last night from the Big Artists section of the show, and the other 11 will perform tonight.

Here was the running order for the show last night with links where available for the official videos:

1. Guisy Ferreri – Fa Talmente Male

2. Fabrizio Moro – Portami Via

3. Elodie – Tutta Colpa Mia

4. Lodovica Comello – Il Cielo Non Mi Basta

5. Fiorella Mannoia – Che Sia Benedetta

6. Alessio Bernabei – Nel Mezzo di un Applauso

7. Al Bano – Di Rose e di Spine

8. Samuel – Vedrai

9. Ron – L’ottava Meraviglia

10. Clementino – Ragazzi Fuori

11. Ermal Meta – Vietato Morire

The show also featured performances from Tiziano Ferro, who paid tribute to Luigi Tenco on the 50th Anniversary of his death. Tiziano performed Mi Sono Innamorato di Te, one of Luigi’s most loved songs. He also performed some of his most recent songs including Il Conforto, a duet with Carmen Consoli. As for international acts, the show featured Clean Bandit as a guest as well as Ricky Martin, who performed a mix of his biggest hits.

No absolute results of Sanremo are revealed during the first show, however they do reveal the three artists at risk of elimination. Unfortunately for this first night, the three acts at the bottom three were:

• Ron

• Clementino

Night 2

Tonight, the final 11 Big Artists will be performing their songs for the first time. Here is the line-up:

2. Marco Masini – Spostato di un secondo

3. Nesli ft. Alice Paba – Do retta a te

4. Sergio Sylvestre – Con Te

5. Gigi D’Alessio – La Prima Stella

6. Michele Bravi – Il Diario degli Errori

7. Paola Turci – Fatti bella per te

8. Francesco Gabbani – Occidentali’s Karma

9. Michele Zarrillo – Mani nelle Mani

10. Chiara Galiazzo – Nessun Posto è casa mia

11. Raige ft. Giulia Luzi – Togliamoci la voglia

Last night the Newcomers also took to the stage. There were four performances:

Two of these acts were voted into the Newcomers final, and they were:
